We needed a last minute room and called. Customer Service was amazing! Thank you Melanie! Got a great, clean room and she recommended The Filling Station pizza across the street, it was delicious!! She also made sure we had access to utensils when I got back w pizza. Unfortunately pool was closed for Covid, but it was big and really pretty. Hoping we can come back!

Great location to get around the area. Very reasonably priced for the accommodations.

Keeping in mind that this is not a premium property, I offer the following review of my stay from Thursday August 22nd to Monday August 26th: The price of the room is the lowest in the Waupaca area. If all you need is a room to sleep in and get yourself ready for the day, this is the place to be. Don’t expect it to be a 4 or 5 star hotel because it’s not. If you want that experience, by all means pay twice as much at the Comfort Suites down the road. The facility is clean. The rooms are clean. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful. The grounds aren’t much to look at, but that’s not why you stay at this hotel. The only issue I had during my stay was the lack of wifi in my area of the building. There was a hardware issue (stuff happens, right?) so I had to use the lobby to get on my laptop. Again, not a big deal. Take the other negative reviews with a grain of salt. They want to pay a budget price for a premium experience. You know what you are getting when you book.

I LOVE econolodge. They’re always clean and the rooms are large, you don’t feel like you’re in jail. Bed was so comfortable I didn’t wanna get up this morning but alas, duty calls. Plus the pool is right there outside your room, how can you beat that?

We got a room here after the Ramada next door cancelled our reservation because of MY SERVICE ANIMAL. The lady at the front desk was so amazing and welcoming! So we thank you for turning our bad day around. Would definitely visit again if I had the chance. Very family friendly and rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was simple but filling. Thank you!

I don’t understand the bad reviews for this hotel! Obviously it isn’t a 5 star hotel (I gave it 5 stars bc the price far exceeds the quality imo). I always look for cheaper hotels that don’t look absolutely horrendous. I decided to give this one a shot, despite some bad reviews. I was a little nervous but honestly it far exceeded my expectations. The furniture in the room (which I didn’t use) was trash but the bed was nice. Shower was fine. Breakfast was small (cereal bagels and juice) but abo it what you’d expect. Check in was super smooth and easy. The pool was meh, obviously not super high quality but for a cheap hotel not bad and I had it to myself!!!! I could also get there right from my hotel room through the back patio door… Oh, ac also worked great! All in all the only nitpick i could find is the parking lot is small and crowded with lots of HUGE potholes!!! Would stay again for sure if I’m in the area.

The staff at this location really go above and beyond for their guest! Me and my boyfriend have come back multiple times because of how much we love the staff! Rooms are always immaculately clean as well!! 10/10 recommend staying here

The front desk lady was nice at check in and out. Our room was clean, and bed was comfortable. Only thing I can say and it's of no fault of the motel, is ill always request to be roomed away from the pool due to the chemicals. My eyes and throat were irritated. We were literally only there to sleep and go so I can't say much on anything else. Except the price was decent and coffee and juice were great to have in the morning. I would stay again.
